My music is a response to the chaos—an antidote to artificiality. Through every sound, lyric, and emotion, I create space for stillness, honesty, and healing. Zen Heals Artificial Influence is more than a phrase—it’s a movement. A call to disconnect from what's fake and reconnect with what’s real: nature, soul, and self. This is music made to ground you, challenge you, and bring you back to clarity.

WHO IS zhai?

zhai. is an independent artist from Charlotte, NC. From an early age, zhai. was influenced by jazz artists like Frank Sinatra, Count Basie, and Louie Armstrong. Being surrounded by an abundance of music, he developed a love for rap, jazz, and rock. In his adolescence he explored the arts, and would go on to be a child actor before learning how to make beats on his cracked version of FL Studio. From there the music obsession began

BREATHE is an unfiltered dive into heartbreak, grief, and the suffocating weight of love lost. The song blends confessional lyrics with haunting emotion, capturing what it feels like to have air in your lungs but still be unable to breathe. Through vivid storytelling—loneliness, anger, temptation, and drowning in memories—it paints the inner chaos of losing someone who once felt like your whole world. BREATHE is more than a song; it’s a release of pressure, a cry for honesty, and a reminder of how heavy love can feel when it turns into loss.
